Community Participation
Social and Community services are about supporting people with a disability to take part in their community.
This is just another way of saying it’s about getting out and about, meeting people, and trying new things!
NDIS may fund a support
worker to support you to:
- attend personal development courses
- join a social group
- take an outing or a holiday
- go on a holiday camp
- visit your local library
- see a movie or a concert
- join a sporting club.
